INTERACTIVE DATA-VISUALIZATION
01 / 05My research in data visualization starts from a need: to bring science, data and history closer to an audience that usually keeps its distance from them. I work with scientific and historical data, archives, measurements and public datasets, process them and turn them into interactive digital visualizations. Data becomes an engaging material and interaction turns learning into discovery: whoever explores a visualization follows their own paths, asks questions and finds connections. Each project is an environment to move through, between motion, color and scale, designed for people who come from outside the field and for those who work in it every day. The goal is to bring the complexity of social, environmental and historical themes into a clear, stimulating and accessible experience.

A map that follows climate change from global physical forces down to daily life: food, housing, health, work.
Go to the project →Energy observatory
The Italian energy system read as an ancient solar observatory: a circle of monoliths, one for each source, facing a common core.
Go to the project →Extinction Atlas
