Lux Ludica
2024 | Svicolando Festival | Immersive experience
Lux Ludica is an art project developed for “Svicolando Festival” in Montecassiano, Italy, that transforms the interior of the historic Church of San Marco in Montecassiano into a visual and immersive experience. The central theme of the project is Play, explored through the fusion of sacred architecture and modern artificial intelligence technologies.
Through the use of projections, advanced generative AI algorithms and custom processed lighting, artists play with the architectural elements of the church. Classicism and innovation have fun reinventing each other, resulting in dynamic canvases with animations inspired by the world of play, fantasy and imagination.
Through AI, video mapping and light design, Lux Ludica transforms St. Mark's Church into a place where spirituality and entertainment meet, offering a visual spectacle that celebrates creativity in all its forms.
