An artistic investigation of Egypt's natural landscape and the research work of Egyptologists.

“Landscapes” is a cultural project conceived by the Egyptian Museum in which photography and video art intersect with archaeology and ancient Egypt.

The central theme of the initiative is the dichotomy between real and imaginary landscapes in archaeological and photographic research.

A visual translation of archaeologists' multidisciplinary research and reflections on the finds, their spatio-temporal connections and the landscape, in a kind of backward journey from modern Egypt to splinters of memory, fragments of archaeological finds and their interpretations.
